Kings grove is a 3 Level Victorian town house split between a lower ground floor flat and upper level 2 storey house. The property was purchased from the local council and was in extremely poor condition. Planning approval was gained for a 3 level rear extension at the back of the property, the first approval of its kind in the area. The two properties were then refurbished from the inside out, with 80% of the original floors and walls being replaced and a new butterfly roof. The scheme utilises frame-less aluminium glazing, a cedar clad rear terrace and reclaimed timber floorboards.
